Have your cake and eat it too! A fake cake story

Have you ever considered a fake cake for your wedding?  I have recommended it to brides on a budget and even had it at my own wedding.  It’s a great money saver considering cakes can range from $5 a slice to more than $10 a slice!  I have made two such cakes and they turned out just beautifully!  I thought I was the only planner recommending this idea, but I just read a post from Wediquette that confirmed that I’m not the only one.  Here’s a look at one of our fake cakes:
